According to Health Canada, January is Alzheimer's Awareness Month.
747,000 Canadians are living with Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia today. In less than 20 Years (2031), this number will increase to 1.4 million....

It’s been a long time that I have not written to you. Now I think it is about the time to keep you in touch. CMAAC is going to have a meeting with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncture of Ontario (CTCMPAO). The World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS) 2015 international conference took place September 25-27, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario. The conference was a great success!

The plan will first be offered to clinics with employees and families. Then, as a next step, a different plan for individual contractors would be introduced.

Acupuncture is now more affordable becuase it is GST/HST exempt.
Thanks to our combined efforts as part of the Canadian Coalition of Acupuncture and TCM Associations (CCTAA), we (CMAAC) have succeeded in making acupuncture performed by acupuncturists and TCM practitioners exempted from GST/HST!
